We are pleased to present Out of Context, a solo exhibition of new photographs by American artist Thom Jackson. Featuring previously unreleased works drawn from both his fine art and fashion photography practice, the exhibition brings together images removed from their original contexts and presented as a cohesive body of work for the first time.

Jackson's photographs reveal moments that are at once familiar and quietly unsettling. His subjects often exist between belonging and isolation, inviting viewers to reflect on uncertainty, resilience, and the search for connection. Whether spontaneous or carefully staged, each image carries a subtle psychological tension, transforming everyday moments into contemplations of memory, identity, and the human experience.

Out of Context is presented concurrently with Fenestrations, a solo exhibition of paintings by Danish artist Anders Moseholm, as part of the gallery's larger presentation, The Art of Being Out of Place. Together, the exhibitions explore displacement from complementary perspectives. Jackson locates it within the individual, while Moseholm finds it within the built environment. One asks what it means to feel out of place in the world; the other asks what happens when the world itself no longer feels familiar.
