THE ART OF BEING OUT OF PLACE

  • Craighead Green Gallery 167 Parkhouse Street Dallas United States (map)

We are pleased to present two concurrent solo exhibitions: Fenestrations, a new body of paintings by Anders Moseholm and Out of Context, featuring new photographs by Thom Jackson. Together, these exhibitions explore the experience of being out of place, whether through the people we encounter or the environments we inhabit.

Jackson's photographs draw from both his fine art and fashion photography practices, presenting moments that feel suspended between familiarity and uncertainty. Moseholm's paintings transform urban landscapes into atmospheric spaces where architecture becomes a reflection of memory and perception rather than a fixed destination. Working in distinct mediums, both artists invite viewers to consider how our sense of belonging is shaped by the people, places, and experiences that surround us.
