“My Paintings continue to explore and celebrate the immense magnificence of unending skies and land that I remember from my Texas childhood. Seeing the horizon always brought feelings of freedom, infinite possibilities, peace, and the expectation of something optimistic and exciting ahead. The title of this body of work, ‘Horizons,’ suggests open space, beauty, big skies, and the ever-changing atmospheric quality of weather that remains in my consciousness.”
