| Artist's Statement |
When asked to define art an old friend once said to me,
"I don't know what art is but I know a couple of things it does, art
inspires and art endures". This is my motivation.
I look for sophisticated form, high aesthetic and rich character using
simple concepts and primary shapes forged and fabricated directly
in raw metal.
The conceptual dialog that takes place making art inspires and
influences me but good work stands independent of its creation.
To understand a work of art is to be sensitive of your own responses to it.
