| Artist's Statement |
I am interested in creating visual connections that exhibit nature and humans as a whole. Through the appropriation of the reliquary encased natural objects are integrated into a portion of the represented human form symbolizing the interrelationship of all species. The objects I create house elements of nature found in the landscape of my daily life. As much as we may try to separate ourselves from nature the fact remains we are in nature and nature is in us.
