Artist's Statement

The I That Sees Me

My work is a processing of personal and shared human experiences. I translate the things that connect us into my own visual language, using a dialog I understand. Sometimes the original experience is recognizable in my work, sometimes it isn’t.  I want the work to take on a life of its own, like a guided daydream. A suggestion of a story, left in the mind of the viewer to finish telling.
